Come join us to dive into Hebridean seas and discover the incredible creatures beneath the waves. At this bespoke session our friendly and informative team will share local expertise, fun facts, and be your guide to whale watching on Mull.
Join this interactive talk in our Hebridean Whale Centre in Tobermory to get an exclusive introduction to Scottish whales and dolphins, as well as find out more about the marine conservation efforts of the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust. Our expert team will provide you with all the information you need to spot these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, and make the most of your time here in the Hebrides.
You will learn how to identify different species of whale, dolphin, porpoise, shark, and other marine megafauna. We will also provide an introduction to Whale Track, our community of citizen scientists, so that you can get involved with our conservation efforts, and help us monitor local seas!
This session is suitable for all ages, however under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. As this is a bespoke event we will tailor your session to the ages, interests and prior knowledge of your group. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific interests or questions.
We want our events to be accessible to everyone so we are asking you to pay what you can. Your donation will support the charitable work of HWDT, thank you.
Please note while there is no minimum number of attendees, we are limited to groups of fifteen at a maximum. This is due to the size of our exhibition room. Thank you for your support and understanding on this.
